Allyson Corbat is the owner, photographer, editor, packager, order shipper and everything in between for Gally Photography. She grew up in a little country town just outside of Fort Wayne Indiana where she spent a lot of time roaming around outside with her parents and two sisters. She went to Purdue University where she double majored in Photography and Advertising and minored in Organizational Leadership and Supervision.
Her interest in photography was apparent as early as the 3rd grade when she made a book (which still sits in her cedar chest of memories) stating that when she grew up she wanted to be a photographer. In high school she took three photography courses and won a Gold Key in the Scholastic Competition for her portfolio. During College she continued taking photography courses while changing majors multiple times. Finally she decided to take the leap and follow her dreams. She started building her portrait portfolio and after a year and a half officially opened Gally Photography.
It is very important to Allyson to be efficient, personable and most importantly give clients images that they can hold onto for the rest of their lives. She insists on giving tangible photographs, albums, and unique gifts that clients can hang in their homes, look at every day and share with their friends and family.
